Pickups

Pickups in video games are objects that are spawned or dropped in environment and can be “picked up” by players coming into contact with them (usually by walking).

In Gigantic there are only 2 types of pickups – Healing Orb and Bloom.

Healing Orb

Healing Orb is a green glowing sphere with a healing cross inside. Healing orbs are dropped by killed enemy heroes and can be picked up by any member of the team, which performed a kill. By walking over orb, hero will be HEALING
Provides HEALTH every second. The amount is determined by the source of the healing.

Blooms

Blooms are objects spawned by Bloomers – a family of creatures that specializes on HEALING

. They look like green shoots with glowing spheres, similar to Healing Orbs, which turn grey when picked up by players.

Spawning blooms is an environmental bonus of the Bloomer creature family. Up to 2 blooms can be spawned by a single creature. After being picked up, new orb will spawn in 20s. Placement of blooms is always fixed and depends on certain Power Circle.

for 175 HP (young) or 300 HP (adult), and depending on Bloomer's type, blooms spawned by adults will give additional buffs to their allies.

Winter Bloomer Orb will apply 150 HP SHIELD
Absorbs 85% of all incoming DAMAGE for the duration of the shield, or until the shield is destroyed (if it has a HP value).

Reduces movement speed by 20% and damages enemies over time.
DEEP FREEZE and FULL FREEZE are more powerful.

Autumn Bloomer Orb will grant STEALTH
Makes hero invisible to enemies, creatures, and Guardians.
Damage indicators and debuffs will still display when striking a stealthed hero.
Invisible heroes also will be shown on the minimap by anything that reveals enemies, such as the vision radius of the Cerberuses.

Increases the speed of hero by a percent determined by the skill applying it.

Spring Bloomer Orb will CLEANSED
Removes any debuffs and prevents debuffs from being reapplied for a period of time (up to 4 seconds).
