Wiki's to-do list

From Gigantic Wiki

Bellow are things that are missing from the wiki or need to be updated

  • Update hero skills and talents descriptions and values to correspond to Rampage Edition, although custom specifications are allowed, especially in cases when in-game description doesn't match the real thing
  • Update heroes' Fortune Cards pages (see Category:Fortune Cards) to correspond to Rampage Edition
    • Completed example: Rutger/Cards (includes a "retired" card from original game as well)
    • Old info such as challenges in original game can be left as commentaries (<!-- -->)
    • See Template:Card on how template works
  • Update hero skins pages to correspond to Rampage Edition
    • Completed examples: Beckett/Skins, The Margrave/Skins
    • Skins added with Rampage Edition need screenshots; in cases where hero and weapon skins are of the same name screenshot should have them both at the same time, editing is allowed; see examples above
    • Old info such as unlocks and prices in original game can be left as commentaries (<!-- -->), unusual means of unlock can be provided as notes; see examples above
    • See Template:HeroSkin on how template works
  • Hero lore pages - need bio summaries (both original/planned and Rampage Edition lore, separated), and transcribed lore letters from “Clash Course” videos
  • Map lore pages are particularly dire at the moment; content can be based around lore snippets (cards, skins, etc) and outside info such as on old official Gigantic web site
  • Hero changelogs and maps need to be completed with information from Beta, original game and Rampage Edition
  • Changelogs sections in creature articles
  • Miscellaneous info subpages - pages where development history and trivia should be listed, this goes for heroes and maps; as for now they lack any substance or appear as trivia only, like Oru/Miscellaneous where content needs to re-arranged and enhanced
  • Populate map galleries pages with images, videos and audio, both already uploaded on the wiki and new ones
    • Ghost Reef/Gallery is an example of properly made gallery although missing Rampage Edition and creature specific screenshots right now
  • Finish other stubs, such as Mechanics, Updates, The Rift, etc
  • Transcribe hero and guardian voice lines (no need to upload the files yet, the process is very complex)
    • Somewhat populated example: Xenobia/Responses
    • Note: big amount of audio files on a single page, even if they are all small, hinders site's performances, so a media loader script was added to the wiki which means audio file loads only on demand (first click)
